JoomlaXi User Search : Beta Release

Last year we released JomSocial User List, which was a successful product in JomSocial Community Solution. As we progressed with the JSUL, we felt that architecture of product does not allow enough flexibility to implement fancy features. We took this opportunity to craft a super flexible and generic user search system, which is named as JoomlaXi User Search (code name XIUS).

JoomlaXi user search was in close-group testing since last two weeks. We appreciate active feedback from our customer, who were involved with XiUS beta testing.

1. Specialized to search users : It is crafted specially to search users in Joomla websites.
2. Search Complex Queries : It can search any information in any Joomla Table via relevant plugins. e.g.
   • Who have uploaded at least 3 photos
   • Search authors who have written 3 article with 100 hits
3. Super Fast : XiUS caches users data into search-able information, and it results into Superfast Search.
4. Flexible : XiUS is designed for flexibility, Every aspect of design can be overridden.
5. Privacy Aware : Whole search system is privacy aware, so non-public information is safe.
6. Extensible : Major power of XiUS comes from its extensibility, By plugins you can change any functionality or behavior of system.

Planned Features:

1. Proximity Search : You will be able to search user with proximity as per criteria.
2. Derived Search : We have plan to add lots of derived search plugins for human friendly search of e.g. Search user using Age rather then birth-dates
3. Feature requested from community, will be added on our Roadmap.

1. All existing JSUL subscribers are eligible to access XiUS, without any purchase. (JSUL support will continue till June End.)
