Opening an AI platform to 2,000+ apps its users already run

An AI video-generation platform did not need another feature — it needed to plug into the tools its users already had open. We built the integration layer that made that possible.

TELL US WHAT YOU ARE BUILDING
AI video-generation platform

The problem

The platform could generate video from text well. What it could not do was fit into a customer's existing workflow — a CMS publishing a post, an email tool running a campaign, a project board moving a task — without someone manually starting a render every time. Building a bespoke integration for every tool a user might already run was not realistic.

What we built

  • A full integration against a major workflow-automation platform’s developer framework — the triggers and actions needed to start and manage video creation from outside the product entirely.
  • A retry-and-queue layer on top of the webhook processing, so an automation keeps working when one call fails instead of silently dropping it.
  • A REST API layer — authentication, rate limiting — in front of the video-generation engine, template selection and render queue, so external tools can trigger renders programmatically.
  • Automated publishing pipelines: a CMS post goes live, a video renders from it, and the finished video posts automatically to social accounts.
  • Workflow triggers from email-marketing and project-management tools, so a video render becomes one step in a larger campaign or project rather than a separate manual task.

Users now trigger and manage video generation from the tools they already have open — a CMS publish, an email step, a project task — without touching the platform’s own interface, and without a failed call quietly dropping a render.
